Current Project: Support for Vulnerable Families in Eritrea
Help Finish a Home for a Single Mother of Five in Rural Eritrea
A safe home shouldn’t be a dream — it should be a basic right.
The Tesfazghi Foundation is raising $35,000 to help a single mother of five complete her unfinished home in rural Eritrea. The structure is standing, but the family still lives without a roof, windows, plumbing, electricity, or secure shelter. Every day they face harsh weather, insecurity, and instability — conditions no family should endure.
What’s Needed to Finish the Home
Your support will help complete:
– Roofing, waterproofing, and insulation
– Window glass and secure doors
– Electrical wiring and lighting
– Plumbing, water system, and bathroom fixtures
– Interior plaster, flooring, and paint
– Exterior finishing and basic fencing.
This project is more than construction — it’s restoring dignity, safety, and hope for a mother and her children. It also strengthens a scalable model for rural housing support across Eritrea.
